Our mission at SitterCycle is to ensure that SitterCycle is a name parents and nannies can trust to learn new skills and refresh their caregiving and professional skills. That’s why we are excited about Nannypalooza, an annual fun conference hosted by expert nanny Sue Downey, where nannies from all over the country gather to learn from experts through sessions and classes and reunite with nannies they may not have seen in a while.
SitterCycle is preparing to meet the nannies and Nannypalooza! We are coming offering four classed by the end of the year and at Nannypalooza, we want to hear from you! What skills should we teach on SitterCycle?
In the next two weeks counting down to Nannypalooza in Cleveland, OH we will bring you great podcast interviews from nannies that are attending and industry experts that have been past Nannypalooza speakers, including our great podcast with Heather Watson Perez, a psychiatrist who helps nannies and parents find solutions to tough issues. As always we want to thank organizer Sue Downey for creating an amazing space for nannies to share and learn from the best experts in childcare: other nannies.
Here are some of the reasons we are excited about Nannypalooza 2013 in Cleveland, Ohio:
The Nannies! The nannies that are part of Nannypalooza are creative and are a very dedicated bunch. We love it!
Sue Downey’s enthusiasm and colorful sweaters- she’s a nanny tour de force and always smiling and part of Nannypalooza’s secret sauce.
The sessions. We’re excited to meet some of the session presenters and get inspired for new podcasts, videos, and classes.
The Unconference! SitterCycle is proud to sponsor the unconference for Nannypalooza, and the advice we get to hear from dozens of nannies in person.
- The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The historic Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is only minutes away from the Wyndham Cleveland at Playhouse Square where Nannypalooza will be held. We’ll take a second to post awesome pictures. We’re counting down in t minus 10 days!
